The clients wanted a calming yet sophisticated beach house in the city, which was open plan with a focus on entertaining. It had to have room for their two teenage kids to live and grow with their own space.
We set about on selecting materials that had both durability and style. The use of external cladding internally gives both a durable and textured look, along with the V joint ceilings. White paint to all walls and ceilings and seamless glass gives the already light filled space even more freshness. The wide board European oak floor finished in white oil gives a very calm and natural look.
The fully functional white lacquered kitchen and scullery with shaker profile doors and integrated appliances provides a level of sophistication without being too over stated. The connections from kitchen to alfresco and alfresco to kitchen make for seamless entertaining.
Walking into the main bedroom you could be mistaken for being in a 5 star resort suite. The finish to all other rooms is of a very high standard which makes them flow.
A relaxed, casual family retreat….it offers superb accommodation for a growing family, sharing in unsurpassed yet understated luxury.
